What Does the Peachtree Village Really Mean When They Say Things Like, "We Just Love Our Community"???

One of the several euphemisms the HOA has been employing lately, (having received a workshop from their recent, for-profit management company called "Proper," whom they hired at OUR expense, on how to use carefully-selected language to manipulate people) are the words "love" and "community." They use words that, ordinarily, have very positive connotations. After all, who doesn't get a warm feeling just from hearing words like "love," "community," "help," and "value." And that's the idea! They're hoping, that by merely using positive words, they can slide right on past the front part of our brains--where we KNOW how abusive and controlling and threatening and cruel the HOA actually is--to reach the back of our heads in order to make us FEEL like they must not be all that bad.

But the reality is that the HOA has a completely different idea of what a "community" and "loving that community" means than what any ordinary person would! While loving a community would normally mean someone actually cares about the PEOPLE living it it, what the Peachtree Village HOA Board (and their small number of supporters) have in mind, is a just a reincarnation of what the Antebellum slave plantation owners felt about the lands they owned and profited greatly from...at the expense of slave labor!

In their minds, however, they spoke so often (and very likely, had truly convinced themselves of what they said) they were so superior to the majority of the inhabitants of their plantations and were divinely ordained to maintain strict control over their "servants." Sure, many of them had a twisted sort of affection for their "good servants," the ones who dutifully obeyed at all times! And some even felt a tinge of discomfort when they had those slaves who had been disobedient bull-whipped...which is why they usually delegated the whipping to someone else, often, a hired hand or another slave!

We can be very glad that over slavery is no longer legal...but the same attitude that prevailed over the slave plantation is, tragically, still alive and well today, but manifesting itself in a different form--the HOA! All the same, general attitudes and behaviors are there! The HOA Board is the Plantation Owner, who thinks of most everyone on the plantation (the community) as BELONGING to THEM! Yes, they might even have a sort of affection, as one would have for a small child or pet, but that homeowner or lessee had better do what they're told OR ELSE, they're to receive a "whipping" in the form of a FINE. They even have their own hired hands to do the whipping for them--HOA management companies like Goodwin & Co or, here lately, Proper HOA management. In this way, they can convince themselves they are "good" masters, by keeping themselves a step or two removed from the fear and pain they are actually inflicting!

Thing is, there is no such thing as a "good master"! Nor is there any such thing as a "good" HOA or "proper" HOA management company! Both institutions are EVIL at their core, because they both presume to rob human beings of their RIGHT TO BE FREE!

Owning a home, means nothing if one is not, not really, in full control of the most important place in all of our lives--our HOMES! When someone else claims THEY are in charge of our home, then it really becomes theirs, and you are a mere squatter at best, except for the fact that YOU PAY FOR EVERYTHING!

So, let's continue to realize what's really going on here--Peachtree Village HOA most definitely does NOT love the PEOPLE of our community. To them, we no different than the slaves of the Antebellum Era, but we know we are fully human, who deserve full freedom and to enjoy to the fullest the homes we fully pay for, by having ALL of our homeowner rights fully restored to us!
