AGAIN, the Peachtree Village HOA Board violates the very Rules they are, otherwise, claiming everyone else has to obey...or else!

The Declaration of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions (the "CCRs" or the "Rules") say, in ARTICLE II, Section 4, (a): "Any area within a Common Drive which have been visibly marked by Declarant [the original builder, Fox & Jacobs] as parking spaces shall be available for parking by any Owner of a Clustered Unit [anyone who owns a house on that given, blue sign, street] served by such Common Drive, or such Owner's guests...."

We need as much extra parking as we can get and, yet, the HOA Board wants to keep using fake, threatening signs that appear to look as if they were posted by the City of Plano [which is, by the way, against the Law to do] and to make it falsely appear homeowners are forbidden to temporarily use these spaces as needed. [And just to make it worse, they wanted to convince the City of Plano to also limit parking on Honeysuckle Lane, which is a City of Plano street, to only one side, until our Neighborhood Union let them know that, according to the City of Plano's Traffic Department, they would have needed a really good, objective reason to do so, plus the approval of 2/3 of all the residents on the adjacent (blue sign) streets...and then they finally abandoned that foolish plan by their last Board meeting on August 20, 2025.] Why? Because they don't like the way it looks??? This is just dumb, impractical and yet one more example of how the Peachtree Village HOA Board could not care less about following their own rules, and whatever it is they gain from exerting control over others, they cannot care less about the hardship it causes the people who live here!
